Bluecom.co.za has a staff compliment with an average of 10 years working experience in a direct IT environment.  The staff come from various spheres of IT covering Desktop Support, Server Installation Support and Administration, Networking, Advanced Networking, IT Training and Development, some Licensing skills, Programming backgrounds with SQL, PHP, VB and .NET platform environments.

Brief Overview of Infrastructure experience:

In the field of Servers Software we have worked on Microsoft Windows mobile/ SBS/ Stranded/ Enterprise 2003, and UNIX systems. They have been deployed as solutions to fit the company’s needs whether it was security, application, communication, file and print. Examples of these implementations are terminal services, Routing and remote access, VPN, backups, SQL, WSUS/SUS, SMS, MOM, ISA, Exchange…

When it comes to hardware our staff has worked on a wide range of hardware brands and their products. Such as desktops, notebooks, Tablet PC’s, mobile, routers, switches, firewalls, fibrotic, generators & UPS, and security devices.

Internal Staff Development Plan – Bluecom has a dedicated full-time Microsoft Certified Trainer to administer and manage an ongoing staff training program.  All staff are required to have a minimum certification of  CompTIA A+ and N+, a MCDST, as well as PHP software application training and supplier software training (CISCO, Billion, etc), with a continuous training plan for all staff to meet the client’s needs and keep skills at a premium in the ever-changing IT environment.   Delegation of administration privileges will only be given to certified/qualified staff members and a full mentoring program has been set in place as well as auditing on all servers.

Bluecom are currently undertaking to qualify as a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and hope to have completed and earned this status by the end of 2008.
